Created by the Tourist Office, the webzine Un air de Bordeaux is an invitation to (re)discover the landscapes of the city, to take full advantage of its cultural dynamism and to be surprised by the treasures hidden close to home. The objective: to embark on an unusual journey by tram or by climbing the hills to enjoy the most beautiful panoramas of Bordeaux.
Wine and heritage, have a taste
From Place de la Bourse to Porte Cailhau, passing through Place du Parlement, discover the most emblematic sights that Bordeaux has to offer on foot, accompanied by a guide. Once the tour is over, enjoy a gastronomic, convivial moment over a glass of wine and a platter in one of the city’s many wine bars. 2nd May to 26th September 6pm every Thursday
An exploration of the city’s transformation since the last decade: new areas, new cultural venues including La Cité du Vin, le Musée Mer Marine, le miroir d’eau (water mirror), the Saint-Jean Euratlantique quarter, etc. It’s an invitation to discover the significant work and developments that have been undertaken to turn Bordeaux into a must-see metropolis. Wine tasting cruise pass
An 1.5 hour cruise trip on the Garonne. Accompanied by a guide, taste two wines from the region and discover the fascinating history of the Bordeaux waterfront, where the wine trade and the Garonne were so intimately linked.
