By Sphère Artistique – Vernissages Lyon (Art World – Private Viewings Lyon)
As an art performer and collector of singular items, I was prompted to create this group in 2014 when I saw the multiplication of private viewings and events of this type that Facebook suggested me. To make a name for themselves, gallery owners used it as a means of communication. This is when I came to realize how useful it would be to create a space to centralize everyone’s artistic experiences and encourage people to visit art galleries. I therefore decided to attend those events to share a friendly moment, photograph the works, chat with the artists then report about the exhibitions I went to. After that, my subscribers gradually took over. And here we are, with a lively Sphère Artistique that brings together all types of galleries and profiles!Eliane
A brand-new addition to Lyon’s cultural offer, Chromatique is a place for free expression. This hybrid concept like no other features, among other things, an exhibition venue dedicated to street art, and several shared office spaces. Designed to foster discussion, exchanges and artistic emulation, the 400 sq. m complex welcomes visitors around a bar, workshops, shared offices and immersive exhibits.
Les Halles du Faubourg, a former factory in the industrial style, is hidden at the end of a tiny cul-de-sac in the center of a rapidly changing neighborhood. As soon as you cross its threshold, you enter another word bedecked with street art! The complex stretching over 1,200 sq. m hosts shows, introductory workshops, conferences, exhibitions, as well as a pub. Art and culture are intertwined in a rather surprising cocktail.
Dedicated to urban cultures, this multi-disciplinary space of 200 sq. m strives to make art accessible to all and encourage people to follow this career path by organizing exhibitions, screenings, conferences, debates, etc. Introductory workshops enable kids or adults to experiment with serigraphy, graffiti or ceramic!
A coffeehouse in the day and a cocktail bar at night, Le Cartel sits in an old building in the Guillotière area. Whether you want to work, throw a party, take a yoga class, attend a conference or even enjoy a street art exhibition, this is the right place for you. A passionate team welcomes each visitor in a friendly atmosphere.
Located in the very heart of the presqu’île, i.e. the peninsula, Galerie SBK puts an emphasis on contemporary and street art. The owner selects meaningful, unique, and often local works of art. It is the ideal place for art lovers, collectors but also the merely curious.
