Nights out

By Sortir à Lyon

I was appointed administrator by a friend of mine in 2018 in order to moderate the Group. People come here to find the best places to hang out in Lyon, and everyone is free to publish whatever they feel like, provided it complies with the policies in place – that goes without saying. Restaurants, nightclubs, one-off or original parties, festivals, gigs… All kinds of events can be advertised here, on condition that they happen in Lyon or in the wider area.

Les Poupées Russes

19 Rue Désirée, 1st arr.

A bar decorated in a psychedelic and trendy style, Les Poupées Russes has gained a reputation for the extraordinary variety of its cocktail menu, featuring both classics and house’s specials, as well as a new recipe each week. Every night, the funk-jazz style of the DJs pays tribute to the sixties and seventies. And contrary to many other bars, drinks are cheaper after 10 pm!

Ayers rock

4 Rue Désirée, 1st arr.

A bit of Australia in Lyon! With its distinctive decoration, it is immersed in a warm, authentic atmosphere. During the week, the night starts to the sounds of rock & roll and ends with electronic music. The place is among the favorites of French and English-speaking students (among others).

Le New Hollywood

6 Rue Henri Barbusse, 8th arr.

Every Sunday and Monday, ballroom dance fans can meet at the New Hollywood. This venue steeped in a retro atmosphere is the perfect place to dance salsa, tango, Pasodoble, rock & roll, bachata, waltz, foxtrot or Madison. Boasting the largest dancefloor in Lyon and an unparalleled musical programming, the New Hollywood is definitely one of the region’s hotspots for whoever wants to party

Le Sirius

4 Quai Victor Augagneur, Berges du Rhône, 3rd arr.

Sirius plays all types of musical genres and offers a variety of eating options including assortments of cheese and French charcuterie, plus an extensive range of special beers. With its two halls, its terrace and its open-air deck, this barge is the ideal place to rest and escape for the daily hassle. Popular for its diverse selection of contemporary music, its live concerts and themed parties, Sirius has everything you need for an enjoyable experience.

16 quai Claude Bernard, 7th arr.

This 50-meter-long high-class boat gives the people and visitors of Lyon the opportunity to discover the city from a different perspective. In an intimate and friendly atmosphere, guests can enjoy meals prepared on board by the chef and his team and stroll on the terrace between dishes. Whether it is for lunch, dinner or just for a cocktail, L’Hermès is a good pick to feast while contemplating the city’s heritage!
