Norwegians are probably not known for being the most outgoing people in the world but give someone from Oslo a microphone and you might be in for a surprise. Quite a few people would love to do their own version of Mustang Sally or a Spice Girls classic if the opportunity strikes. Bjørn Tore Dyrnes founded the Facebook group Karaoke i Oslo (Karaoke in Oslo) to give karaoke enthusiasts a place to gather and share information on karaoke in the capital.
– The best part of being a member of the group is that you broaden your network, get the opportunity to grow your passion for karaoke and singing as well as giving those visiting Oslo tips to finding a karaoke pub, Dyrnes says.
