Saved from the scrapheap – the Reanimated Bikes team helps to give bicycles a second life. New components are used in addition to used ones, and the refurbished wheels are individually customized to their new owners.

Alexander Obsieger wanted to do something about packaging and food waste, and that’s why he opened Der Greissler. The packaging-free grocery shop focuses on a fresh, seasonal range. Obsieger gets his meat from organic farmers across the region.

The trend towards urban farming has also become firmly ingrained in Vienna. The City Farm is an all-round natural delight with a colourful range of vegetables that can be discovered and tried during guided tours and tasting sessions. Special workshops help teach children about gardens and nature.
